Alpinestars T-Stunt Air Jacket
Sizing Information:
Choose a jacket size based upon what you normally buy in men’s clothing. If you want to measure yourself to help pick a size, have a look at Alpinestars’ sizing chart. And for those who may have a bit of a belly, we encourage you to consider our estimated max belly sizes listed below. Choose a jacket size that will accommodate both your chest and your belly.
| Alpha Size | Max Chest Size (inches) | Max Belly Size (inches) |
| Small | 38-40 | 35 |
| Medium | 40-42 | 38 |
| Large | 42-44 | 40 |
| XL | 44-46 | 42 |
| XXL | 46-48 | 44 |
| XXXL | 50-52 | 48 |
The T-Stunt Air jacket is a part-textile, part-mesh design. If you live in a mild climate (like many coastal areas), this would be a very comfortable choice. The jacket is well made and offers a high level of protection. It comes standard with CE rated molded rubber protectors in the shoulders and elbows (not unlike other brand jackets), but it also comes with a foam back pad and foam pads in the chest area. These pads are simple foam construction, but they can be upgraded to a more substantial CE rated version (see below). If you take the “View Larger Pictures” link above, you can see what portion of the jacket’s shell is solid textile and what portion is mesh. I’d guess about 20% is mesh, which will allow for some nice airflow on warm days. The jacket comes with a removable, full-sleeve windproof liner. The liner is useful on cool mornings or mountain passes to extend the comfort range of the jacket. The liner can pack into a small space when not in use. The jacket includes a full circumference zipper for connection to Alpinestars pants.
