Fieldsheer Street Textile Pants

These pants are tailored very much like cargo pants/jeans. These pants are sold in men’s “alpha” sizes. You can order the size you normally wear in men’s pants. And you can go here to have a look at Fieldsheer’s sizing chart. From there, you can select a size based upon your waist size. The waist band has a couple stretch panels built in on each side to help with fit and comfort. The pants also have belt loops. Wearing a belt on pants that have some stretch in the waist will help hold them up securely. I measured the inseams on the pants and found them to be about 1” shorter than the “Regular” inseam listed in the chart.

I really like Fieldsheer’s Street textile pants. They are a very simple design that will work well for all kinds of “every day” riders. The pants are cut like cargo pants, sort of loose and comfortable which works well for the riding position. The overall look is simple, but just a little bit sporty. Although they are all black, there is some contrast in the textile materials used which adds some style. The knees are equipped with “GP” type armor. The height of the armor is adjustable by way of Fieldsheer’s clever adjustable height armor pocket. You just figure out the best height of the armor and use the horizontal Velcro strips to trap the armor in one of three height positions. Neat! The hips are equipped with removable memory foam armor. The pants are made waterproof by way of a waterproof inner liner. This should be effective to keep out rain, but it will prevent good ventilation through the pants, so consider these pants for cooler to warm weather use, but not for hot weather.
