FirstGear HT II Textile Overpants

These HT II Overpants are the best, fully-featured textile pants we offer. The basic design allow for use over regular street clothing (but you can wear them on their own if you wish). The two full length side zippers allow you to put them on over street clothes (and take them off) like chaps without finding a place to change clothes. Also with commuters in mind, the pants are made waterproof by virtue of a water resistant shell along with a breathable membrane. And the side zippers have the extra flap over the zipper to help prevent leakage. One feature unique to this style is the removable/zip-out thermal liner which extends all the way down the leg. I can’t think of a better arrangement for riding in cold or cold/damp/wet conditions. For crash protection the pants are supplied with removable foam armor in the knees and hips. This armor is not a “hard” type armor (which would not be the most appropriate thing for a loose fit pant like this), but rather it’s a softer, more pliable design which will provide some impact protection without being bulky or uncomfortable. The knee armor can be upgraded with the CE approved Core-Comp armor (see below).
