The Yamaha R-Series textile jacket is a sharp looking jacket that will work well in cool to warm temperatures. The jacket has some venting for warmer rides, but you may want to go with a mesh style for extreme heat (zippered vents on the torso are off to the side of the body and will be only moderately effective). For cooler days a removable insulated vest liner is included. The jacket has an adjustable waist, sleeves and wrist closures making it easy to get a good fit. There is removable CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows and a removable back pad that can be upgraded to the optional CE approved back protector (see link below). There is also a reflective strip outlining the back of the jacket for increased nighttime visibility.
