Scorpion Burnout Textile Jacket

Sizing Information:
The sizing on this jacket is comparable to other “alpha” sized jackets and is also in line with men’s clothing sizes, so choose the size you normally wear in jackets and shirts. If you want to double check sizing using a tape measure, refer to the chart below. Don’t be concerned that the belly dimensions are much bigger than your measurement—this is part of the “relaxed” styling. And there are snaps to cinch down the waist area another 2”. There is also a side zipper that will open up the waist 2” if necessary (see closeup photos).
| Size | Max Chest | Max Belly |
| XS | 36 | 32 |
| Small | 38 | 34 |
| Medium | 40 | 36 |
| Large | 44 | 40 |
| XL | 46 | 42 |
| XXL | 48 | 44 |
| XXXL | 50 | 46 |
The Burnout textile jacket is a sport cut jacket that should work well in cool to warm temperatures. The shell of the jacket is a solid water-resistant textile (but not waterproof due to the zippers and such). For warmer days there are two sleeve vents, two chest vents and two large exhaust vents that can be used to increase airflow to the rider’s body. For cooler days the removable full sleeve insulated liner can be installed to help keep you warm. For crash protection the shoulders and elbows come equipped with removable CE approved armor. There is also a removable foam back pad. The side of the jacket has a two point waist adjustment along with zippered gussets that can be opened to keep the jacket from bunching in the riding position (or to accommodate for a bit of a belly). For increased nighttime visibility there is reflective piping running across the front and back of the jacket. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good closeups of this jacket and its features.
