The Jett Series 2 jacket is a comfortable waist length textile jacket that will work great for cold to mild weather. For mild weather the jacket has two good sized shoulder intake vents, two bicep vents and a large rear exhaust vent. The jacket offers waterproof construction by way of a mid-liner. Use of a mid-liner keeps water out effectively but the shell material of the jacket gets wet. Although the zippered venting is extensive the mid-liner won’t allow free flow of air all the way through the jacket. Also this jacket has a solid nylon inside lining rather than mesh, so I’d recommend this jacket for cold to mild weather use (but not for hot weather). For cooler rides a removable full sleeve liner is included and can be installed to add a layer of insulation. For crash protection the shoulders and elbows come equipped with removable CE approved armor and there is also a removable triple density backpad. The jacket allows you to customize the fit with an adjustable waist, sleeves and cuff closures. For added nighttime visibility there is reflective piping wrapped around the jacket at the shoulders. There is a 8” jacket to pants attachment zipper for use with any Tour Master or Cortech riding pants. To say I was impressed with this combo is an understatement. I was honestly astonished at their effectiveness. Like I said this morning was in the high 30s and underneath I had a polo and a light pair of pants was very slightly cool during my 20 mile ride, only because (I discovered when I arrived at the office) I had left the vents open on the Jacket.
