Sizing Information:
You’d want to buy this pant in the size you’d normally buy men’s clothes. The pants are made slightly taller and larger than standard with the idea you’d be able to wear them over pants without having to choose a larger-than-normal size. The chart below gives an estimate of actual measured size. As you can see, the waist on the pants is HIGHLY variable, but it might help to choose a size so that your waist is well in the middle of the range.
| Size | Waist Relaxed | Waist Stretched | Inseam |
| Small | 24 | 39 | 33 |
| Medium | 28 | 43 | 33 |
| Large | 32 | 47 | 33.5 |
| XL | 36 | 51 | 33.5 |
| XXL | 40 | 55 | 34.5 |
| XXXL | 44 | 59 | 34.5 |
The Rainman pants are high quality Nylon construction (PVC is the material used in cheaper suits). Nylon feels more like fabric as opposed to the plastic/rubber feel of PVC, so you’ll enjoy wearing them. We sell these pants with the Rainman jackets, or buy a pair separately for use with your own water resistant jacket. The pants have a large ankle zipper to allow you to pull them on over boots and the front of each leg has an overlay of heat resistant material (to resist melting near pipes). The neatest feature of these pants is the integral storage pouch which allows you to store the pants in a very small, convenient pouch in your luggage (see pic by taking the “View Larger Pictures” link above).
