Sizing Information

These boots are sold in men’s regular street shoe sizes. Half sizes are also offered between 8 and 12. In trying the boots on, I found them to fit as expected, so choose the size you normally wear.

Our Two Cents

People sometimes ask for boots that will give them a little extra height to help them get stable footing (short legs/too-tall bike), and I immediately thought these boots would be a good choice for that. The soles are very wide and stable. Unlike race boots that are very thin and taper inward from the foot bed, these soles are thicker than average and actually taper outward from the foot bed, so the footprint on the ground is bigger and wider than your feet. The upper is a leather/mesh combination which makes for a light, airy boot. The closure system is very neat and tidy. Where laces might be, there are small bungee cords which pass through the tongue. These cords keep the tongue of the boot in place over your instep, and to keep the boots firmly on your foot there are two sturdy Velcro straps. The combination makes for easy-on and easy-off. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good close up views of the boot.

These are very comfortable boots. They are like a cross between a boot and sneaker. They have the support and protection offered by a boot with the look and comfort of a street shoe. (Read more...)
