The fit of these jackets is similar to other brands of leather sport jackets. You want to choose a jacket that is big enough for your actual chest measurement. And you want to make sure the size will be big enough for your belly (if you have one). The max belly for any size jacket is approximately 6” less than the jacket size (example: max belly for a 46 is a 40” belly).
Our Two Cents
The Blaster series has been a favorite of sport and street riders for years. We were able to buy the remaining inventory of this style at a fantastic price. My comments from ‘07: The Blaster 3.0 is a nicely styled leather sport jacket with a twist—it’s made with textile panels down the inside of the sleeves and the sides of the torso. These panels are removable and there is mesh material underneath which will allow for a lot of air flow through the jacket in hot weather. But in cold weather, you can ride with the textile panels installed to block the wind. And with the removable thermal liner in place, you’ll have a warm jacket. The jacket has both a full circumference zipper and a short rear zipper for attachment to either leather sport pants or textile pants. The jacket comes with CE “turtle shell” armor in the shoulders and elbows and a dual density back pad. The back pad can be upgraded to a CE type (see below).
