Our Two Cents
Here is a great closeout deal on a high quality mesh jacket! We bought all remaining inventory so when these are gone, there will be no more. The blue jackets are priced much lower because we bought a BUNCH of those and need to sell them faster than the more popular colors. This jacket was originally called the CBR mesh jacket, but it doesn’t say CBR anywhere on it, so to reach as wide of a customer base as possible, we’ve dropped the CBR part. My comments from ‘08: Joe Rocket’s Honda mesh jacket is a full mesh sport jacket, primarily for warm weather street and sport riding. The entire jacket is a mesh material that allows air to blow right through the jacket. To help extend the jacket’s comfort range, you get a Dry Tech Liner as standard. The liner works great on cool mornings to take the chill off and can be easily removed and stored when it warms up. The armor in the shoulders and elbows of this jacket is a CE approved “turtle shell” molded rubber type. The back protector supplied is dual density. An upgraded CE approved back protector is available (see below). This jacket also has a unique and novel feature: an MP3 player pocket with a grommet to pass your head phone cord through near the neck. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see a good group of close-up photos of the MP3 pocket and this jacket’s other features. Need pants? The jacket has a connection zipper in the rear that is compatible with either pant.
FAQ: Can I take the Honda logos off the front and back of the jacket? A: We knew this would be the very first question that would arise for this product. The ladies in the warehouse took a seam ripper to the logos and did a good job of removing them. They are cloth patches and are sewn to the mesh material around the perimeter of each logo. When the logo are removed, there is a faint outline where the patch was sewn, but not very noticeable. The rectangular logo in front is really three patches. the left and the right side of the “HONDA” is easily removed, but the slash of the “N” passes over the main zipper. It could also be removed, the the stitching of the main zipper passes through that part, so if you rip that seam, you’ll have to re-sew it. We choose not to since it doesn’t look so bad. It becomes more of a conversation piece we think. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see the jacket with the logos removed. Please note: Not returns or exchanges on jacket that have had logos removed!

Both the Joe Rocket Mesh Jacket and the Fieldsheer pants are awesome for warm or hot weather riding! And with the cold/wet weather liners, they are great to take on the road and add when you need 'em, remove them when you don't!
