Our Two Cents
I’d definitely agree that this jacket is “value priced”, but having tried one on, I’d have to advise you to spend a little more money and get a jacket that would better protect you. Strike one: the XL fit much larger than “normal”. The torso and body were one or two sizes too big on me. Strike two: the armor used in the shoulders and elbows is a plain flat piece of foam. It’s not contoured and more or less just flops around so there would be about zero chance it would be in the right position if you fell. Strike three: there were a lot of loose threads and rough edges on my sample jacket.
